'For our precious pooch Ruby we didn’t want some over crowded unloving establishment. Ruby is part of our family and as such deserves to be treated with respect. We heard about Niki Turner (Dogs Digs and Runs) from a friend who lived close to Niki. When we telephoned, straight away there was genuine warmth and we soon built a rapport. We visited first and were very pleased indeed. There is a big garden with fields beyond and when we took Ruby, straight away she was running and hiding in the bushes. It didn’t take her long to settle in and we do believe that when we collected a very happy and contented Ruby to take her home she also had a hint of sadness. 'Misty – an 8yr old Parsons Terrier (with real character) is a rescue dog, whom I have had for 2 years. I have owned dogs for over 20 years but never boarded any of them, due to lack of confidence in the care packages being offered. I do have very high standards when it comes to my dogs mental and physical needs. I was worried that because Misty had never been away from home since I had her that she would pine and be miserable. WELL – How wrong can you be! From the first time I met Niki it was a joy. She is totally professional, caring and has a real rapport with the dogs. All my worries were dispelled. Talk about home from home, all those ‘creature comforts’ (fields as far as the eye can see, log burner - for those chilly evenings by the TV and endless cuddles ) I was away for a week and from the first day Niki kept me up to date by text of Misty’s antics and adventures. On my return I had to prize her away from ‘Niki’s Hotel’. I can only speak extremely highly of the individual care and attention that Misty received and will definitely be sending her on holiday again in the future. Score: 10/10' J Williams
Just to say a massive thank you to Niki for looking after our two boys so well recently. We were recommended to Dogs,Digs and Runs by our vet and grabbed the only two weeks available this year - what a find! Niki instantly become a friend and our two precious boys instantly bonded with Myst and Pebble. Lots of hard work for Niki - those dogs really get pampered - long walks, a cuddle on the couch and steak for tea!!! Can't speak highly enough!
