At Dogs Digs and Runs we provide the perfect "Home from Home" Dog Boarding experience. All canine guests are treated as part of the family and live within our own home, having the run of the house and garden. There are no children or cats, just a fun loving dog and two adults with a sense of humour who don’t mind a muddy floor or sharing the sofa.
Our Family
Dogs Digs and Runs was set up in 2008 and is run by myself, Niki Turner. Having owned and cared for dogs all my life (that's clocking up over forty years!) I have plenty of hands on experience. Like most dog lovers I put the welfare of my dogs before my own - they are my family. My constant companions are Myst and Pebble, very energetic, athletic girls with brains and beauty. Both are very well socialised, and enjoy looking after our guests Entertainment & Hospitality, while I take care of Health & Safety, Catering and House Keeping. The man about house is Keith, easy going by nature, biddable and house trained!
Just by taking a moment to look through our Gallery page, you will see that we have cared for and gained experience with a wide range of breeds, large and small, from pups to seniors. We provide a comfortable relaxed environment where dogs are cared for with understanding and supervision plus all the fuss and cuddles your best friend expects.
Safe & Secure
We have a large, fenced, secure garden, perfect for play or simply lying beneath a shady tree. Open countryside and footpaths are just beyond the gate, providing ideal dog friendly fields for exercise, fun and miles of walks.
Using 4x4 transport fitted with separate, secure, custom built dog compartments, tinted windows and AC everyone travels in comfort and safety.
Just as we do, most dogs like to take a trip out, to visit and enjoy exploring different environments. Usually our customers are pleased to hear that their dogs have enjoyed themselves at various local parks, woods and commons. Prior to your dogs stay we spend time together to familiarise ourselves with you and your dogs, where we discuss the suitability and preference for free running, or on lead exercise.
